Thanks CMF.Details for Cage can be found here http://www.thecage.com.sg/about.htm%0A%0A%0AHere%27s%20another%20kids%20soccer%20academy%20that%20you%20may%20wish%20to%20%20check%20out http://www.coerver.com.sg/
Looks like The Cage is for older kids starting fr 8 years old. My son is 3 going on 4 next year ...
Coerver is only available in Tampines Safra for U-5 ...i like the Kallang/ Cage location as it is nearer to me but looks like my boy will hv to wait a while..... at the moment he shows interest in soccer....maybe by the time he is ready, he might no longer be interested...ok that saves me money then ... hahaha...
thanks again. -

Coerver has recently changed to First Kick Academy http://www.firstkickacademy.com/ they have a few more locations now and classes are on weekend. I think their coaches are locals. You can call them up and ask for trial lesson. My boy has been with them for almost a year and he really enjoys the classes.Details for Cage can be found here http://www.thecage.com.sg/about.htm%0A%0A%0AHere%27s%20another%20kids%20soccer%20academy%20that%20you%20may%20wish%20to%20%20check%20out http://www.coerver.com.sg/
There's another soccer school called Brazilian Soccer School at Turf City. I don't know the minimum age for their classes though. -
The cage does look pretty exciting. I could tell some of my UK friends who have kids here to sign up. They were asking me about soccer academies the other day.

Hi everyone
Not too sure if many send their kids to soccer schs because can't seem to find any substantial posts about it.
I'm pursuing recommendation from my son's teacher that he should channel his energy (boisterous & loud in class) to outdoor sports & since he's into soccer, I'm doing my homework to see which soccer schs to send him to.
My boy is a preschooler.
Currently, I'm looking at these which I found from Google search:
http://www.englishsoccerschool.com/
http://www.singaporesocceracademy.com/
http://arionfa.com/

http://www.isa.com.sg/
http://www.jssl-arsenal.com/
http://muss-sea.com/sg/
http://www.socatots.com/singapore/
Any reviews from those who've sent their kids to soccer at these places? -

I only went down to see socatots with my friend, place looks nice and kids looked very happy but they are all quite young. My friend signed up, so far so good. She says her DS enjoys the lessons there. She is just looking for something to give him some exercise and also for interaction with the other kids. Not so much to train him to be a soccer superstar player. Not sure if that is what you want though.Hi everyone

Hey there.
Thanks for replying.
Think hubby & I are looking for something that’s fun yet will also teach him soccer skills.
If they’ve got a trial lesson, we may just sign up & see how it goes. -
Anyone keen?
I managed to find a soccer school which is willing to set up a new location for classes at Punggol/SK (as long as we can find a piece of land which is meant for public recreational use).
Min 5 kiddos to start a class.
Preferably kiddos of same age group (3-5yo).
They welcome older kids but due to the different activities done for different age groups, it would be better if we start off with kiddos 3-5yo first, then they might take in older kids and bring in more coaches.
If you are keen to let your 3-5yo kiddo join (most likely will be Sunday afternoon/evenings), leave a msg here
I'll PM you for contact soon

FYI,
For Pungol/Sengkang residents, you can also checkout Sporting Junior Football Academy. They've been around since 2004. The owner is Steven Chua. It's a great place for kid's casual weekend soccer. My family has a lot of great memories with SJFA.

It’s by local coaches right? The school I’m liaising with are all expat coaches (good chance to learn proper English too).
Fees are very reasonable too.
Anyway, I’m looking for kids around my boy’s age group to form a class.
