Prudential Hotel:222 Nathan Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon.

Positioned above the Jordan Mass Transit Railway , so its sheltered right to the hotel lobby. Its very central and near all shopping area in Kowloon.

What’s your budget? If you have a fatter budget, I strongly recommend Langham Place Hotel at Mongkok. Like Prudential, it’s directly connected to Mongkok MTR station and a huge shopping mall, Langham Place Mall. It’s newer than Prudential (4star) and 5 star. If your 2 young kids need to nap, you can conveniently go to the mall to do quick shopping while another adult stays in the room.

YMCA Salisbury, next to famous Peninsula Hotel, cheap and good, clean and newly renovated

book the family room and pay at hotel, walk from Tsimshatsui MTR, nice view of HK Harbor Christmas light up from the room

I’ve been to hkg several times and the largest room I ever stayed in was Royal Plaza Hotel … It sits in the middle of the busy shopping area like Fa Yuen Street/Mongkok and is connected to the MTR by a long bridge … The Hotel itself is next to a large shopping mall. It may be abit of a hassle if your kids cant walk much (~8mins walk to MTR) but the room is really large … Forget about BP, Eaton, Dorsett. They are pigeon holes.

And by the way, I have used PYO several times. Their rates are pretty competitive. I compared it to wotif.com, asiarooms, hotels.com, etc. Hope you find it useful.

Hi Rose, my family of 4 (2A2C) are going to HK this Nov. We've booked L'Hotel Nina near to Tsuen Wan West MTR. The rate is $220 per nite, maybe U can consider this pretty new 5* hotel which is near to shopping centres too.
