Thx. Selecting sch was much easier during our time! Well, DS's form teacher has since beginning of year strongly recommended TKSS & after reading so much from this forum, i hv more or less give my vote to TKSS. Yes, Bedok View has made her way up in this neighbourhood these 2 years. Very impressive by the sch & children.

Wow 25hourmaid,

U are fast... really thanks for your advise!!! phew... at least have a idea where to go onward... thanks for helping to trim it down...

Based on 25hourmaid's recommendation, my preferred order:
Bowen
St Gab
NV
SK
HG
Holy Innocent

I have friends teaching in all the above schools and I've been to Bowen to invigilate 😄

My preference is based not only on academic results produced by the school but also discipline and character building 😄

Great!!! thanks to mrswongtuition!!!!

Actually do plan to put Bowen in 1st choice, and really thanks for your info... :celebrate:
Eh.... any idea where can i search past years 'O' level results base schools??? thanks alot...

May I know if Fuhua Secondary is a good school??? :?: :?:

The Express stream in Fuhua Sec Sch has been getting value added award consistently. If you are looking for a value added school, it is a good choice. What is your child's aggregate score?

I am new to this site and I am doing secondary schools’ selection for my daughter who has just gotten her PSLE results. My daughter’s score is 246 with distinction in HMT. I wonder if she does stand a chance to apply for River Valley which had COP of 251 in 2010. Anyone can help?

Thank you for sharing. my daughter got 261+3 and has DSA of MGS, she wants to appeal NYGS, is it wothy to do that? after all she was enrolled in a special programm: Sophia Blackmore programm of MGS, anybody learn about this programm?

My understanding is MGS SPC program is as good as GEP class. NYGS student will progress to HCJC at year 5 and take A lvl there. MGS will need to take 'O' Level end of year 4 , it all depends on what your child wants.
Thanks lot. the problem is she doesn't know what she wants seriouly, she just wants NYGH for being together with her friends, because most of them are going to NYGH. With her T score, will she be the bottom of the cohort in NYGH?

Yes.
Then what is the best combination to put if he wants to go Maris Stella in the event his appeal to SJI fails ?
