She anti my dd lah, always pick on her, I think personality clash.... 😞 Dd very affected and totally gave up on her lessons, including handwriting also gone from very neat to illegible.

I hate this type of Ts. Granted, not everyone is blessed with the ability to inspire, but at least don't demoralise our children. That's the least we can expect from Ts.

Each and everyone of us parents here have given our best shot to groom our kids as best as we could. So it's a big, big responsibility the Ts have.

I think it was really purely personality clash.... like 火星撞地球。She was very stern with my dd cos she wanted dd to do better, when dd put in just a little bit more effort, she was not impressed and dd had the impression that T disliked her... so the relationship just went downhill from there.... dd has to learn that to stop self-sabotage and be more objective (cos you're bound to clash with someone sometime in your life) and I think T should go for lessons on child psychology. Anyway, I have no basis to complain.... Good thing this yaer, dd's Ts are all ok....

          S6169:

That Means if you write 3 u=9, it will be marked wrongly in PSLE? I though Model is another way of Algebra, \"U\" is similar like\"x\" or \"y\".
If use \"A\" represent apple, \"P\" for pear, can we write 3A+P=2?
Hi S6169, your ds and mine are in the same class (M1). I just asked mine, she said, it is true that Mdm Chen did say it has to be arrow, not equal sign. When she started learning model 2 years ago, it was equal. But, while working with her at home, I used arrow, so she has been receptive to both. Now, she said teachers changed their minds. btw, you got PM.

Yes, Just checked ds's math homework, he use the arrow sign not the equal sign. A blur mum never though this is an issue.

Think you shld not mention the loop holes so clearly, sch staff might b reading this post too.

              serious boh....chop-chop 😉

真的吗? They would rather channel the staff to read the post here than to handle formal feedback? Have been sending them a few queries and feedback since beginning of the year, but all go down the drain, so upset. Perhaps will be more effective to post here.

By the way, I've a DD in P4.

So it was not becos my boy's ex-teachers taught wrongly. I told the MA teacher at the PTM abt my boy's ex-teachers using '=' sign. She mentioned she wld let the lower pri lvl teachers know abt this. Hopefully, we see an overall change for the lower lvl pupils.

P4 parents, do your child hv issues with the recent LEAD MA worksheet?

On Tues, my boy was doing a LEAD account MA worksheet on measuring angles. He laid a protractor on the laptop screen, found the degree and input the ans. Then he submitted the ans and checked the marked worksheet. Some of his ans were marked wrong! I was sitting next to him then and I am very certain that the submitted ans were correct.

He was very frustrated with the LEAD account worksheet.

                    What abt your child?

Yes. The figures seemed distorted/stretched. 2 or 3 worksheets were affected.

These LEAD account worksheets are not generated by the sch right?
