Well, when you get your place this Friday, remember to come and tell us all about it here so we can celebrate the changing of your destiny together with you.
Ehh...Chief, Namie registering for her son only next year.

Namie:
When I saw Maris Stella will go into balloting, I was devastated. I told my son, next year I may not register him for Maris Stella in case he can't get in. He was upset cos his best friend will definitely be going there (already has a brother there)
:? Chief, maybe you are right. Sorry! Misunderstanding. -
My son is born in 2004 but I have been monitoring the balloting history of Maris Stella. My son is also excited to go to the same primary school as his best friend since day 1 in nursery class.
Lets hope MSH does not go into balloting for Phase 2B next year. -

Hi Namie,
I understand what you meant....I registered my son there yesterday, thinking that it should be relatively safe - the uncle assisting at the registration also told us to \"fang xin\" as in the last 10 years, there was only one ballot year....sigh....this year really break the spell.
Gotta pray hard now

This is nothing. My daughter is born in 2006 and we are already thinking of putting her at CHIJ Katong, while praying for a miracle at St. Nicholas or IJ (TP) when it is her turn.

I’m also one of the stressed mummy going to register my son under phase 2C nxt week. This is really 1st time that MSH goes into balloting for Phase 2B…according to one of my frend who’s a PV, she said the raise in popularity could be due to the circle line which makes it really convenient for the students. In actual fact MSH only accept a small no. of PV every year coz they’ve a large pool of existing n devoted PV. Thus, the ‘big’ no. in phase 2B could be attributed by the no. of grassroot leaders who hv registered their kids.
Historically, MSH does not hv to conduct balloting for 2C (within 1km), but mine is 1-2km…l hope I won’t hv a sleepless night on the day before the balloting. -
Hi, latest update from Maris Stella
No balloting for phase 2B this year. It's stated 99 applicants for 98 places. But according to Maris Stella, a pair of twins have registered and they counted as one. Hence no balloting :celebrate: -

Hmm...no idea whether they will reduce 1 seat for 2C. The best is to give them a call?
