my postings pale in comparison to your selfless sharing of phonics teaching.

      jedamum,
I learn a lot from you about how to write in nice and respectful ways, even when there are difference of opinions šŸ˜‰

Yes, dunno why they never \"upgraded\" the illustrations but it is effective. However, it is very boring for the parent reading though. Thank goodness my DD got more proficient (and thus bored with this series) so we moved on to books with more interesting storylines, repetitive or not.

You're welcome. My DD is 7 but we stopped reading P&J when she was about 6. We didn't bother to get all the books, especially the C books since they are like workbooks. We didn't get the books level by level too. I know I got her Level 1 and maybe one each of Levels 2 and 3. Then, I didn't get anymore for a while before suddenly jumping to Level 6(?). It got very wordy and she could read it on her own but it still bored us so we decided to give up and stick to library books instead.

I got mine at $3.80 each.
                    Hi Wesim

where did you get yours ? I find some of the books from 2nd hand bookstores in Bras Basah but they are all quite old and yellowish inside.
