Ladybird - Peter and Jane series

jaewee:
btw, how old is your dd? Did u get all L1-L12 aka 36 books?
You're welcome. My DD is 7 but we stopped reading P&J when she was about 6. We didn't bother to get all the books, especially the C books since they are like workbooks. We didn't get the books level by level too. I know I got her Level 1 and maybe one each of Levels 2 and 3. Then, I didn't get anymore for a while before suddenly jumping to Level 6(?). It got very wordy and she could read it on her own but it still bored us so we decided to give up and stick to library books instead. -

Hi WesimHi
I got mine at $3.80 each.
where did you get yours ? I find some of the books from 2nd hand bookstores in Bras Basah but they are all quite old and yellowish inside. -
you can get a brand new copy at $4 from this website :

I saw someone selling $3.70 on Spore Motherhood forum, fyi only.
If get full set of 36 books, got 5% discount
No affiliation to seller, ok -
You can also check out 2nd hand bookshops. Cost about $1.90 with old cover but I buy lots of books so every savings count. These 2ndhand vendors sometimes rent a space at shopping centres’ forum so no need to go all the way to Bras Basah. I picked up books 1(a) to
of P&J and the entire Ginn 360 level 2 series this way. Good condition still. -
hi all

-
Popular is selling the vintage collection
ie. old illustration covers at 3 for $10.00. -

There is another Laybird series for phonics readers. It comes in 12 books. The cover is blue in colour and the first book starts with alphabet sounds. Very interesting series.P&J are graded
readers...helps with introduction to sight
words. It's not Phonics readers. -
Do libraries have Peter and Jane series???
