[Bukit Timah] Primary Schools
-
The staff in Henry Park Primary seem more patient and friendlier.
As for Nanyang Primary, it's not easy. Unless you are able to provide what they need at that time. :stupid: -

Hi everyone, I have applied for PV for NanYang and Henry Park. Does anyone has any experience as to how challenging is it to be selected as PV for these 2 schools? Thanks a lot!
Super super duper challenging. These 2 schools set a very low limit for their PV intake so as to give PVs a better chance during 2B registration. I would advise u to submit a few more applications to other schools. -
Update for HPPS : There were 44 ppl who registered yesterday staying within 1km (for 43 places). The school will be calling those staying out of 1km to withdraw…

Melodies:
Hi Melodies,Does anyone know about BT. Timah Primary School? Is it a good school? How about the culture of the school?
Thanks in advance!
We have just registered for BTPS. Still monitoring the situation. If things turn favourable, we might be switching to another school.
So far, comments from parents on BTPS are rather good for a neighbourhood school. But I would like to hear more from other parents too. -
Wonder why this year's takeup rate for RGPS is so low? :?

Trust me, you will see all the parents register on the last day and balloting will be conducted for those more than 2km. This happens every year for RGPS. Reason being there are mostly landed houses within 2km and beyond 2km simply means open to everyone in Singapore.

I am lucky this year as my girl qualify for phase 2A2 but for my boy, gotta start working on it now.
Gosh, this phase 2C is a long drawn affair if balloting is needed. Hoping not to have to go thru it during my boy's time. -

Think ur message was trancated. Anyway MGS stats (updated 30th July 11am) are:MGS balloting for < 1km
Vacancies : 37
Applicant :
<1km>2km : 5
Vacancies = 37
Within 1 km = 40
1-2 km = 6
Out of 2 km = 5
So looks like there will be balloting within 1km this year...
