-
Dear Tri-Mum:
I just chit chat with my friend and she is the one who being ask to withdraw fr Unity & register with other school. After talking with her, i think i will put Kranji as my second choice. She told me that Kranji had change principal recently and picking up also. -
kelyn:
Then I think in the first place, priority should be given to those who required special needs since not every school has the facilities.
Yes, you can put in waiting list immediately but for Unity the priority will go to the children that required special needs and they will also conduct interview.honeybeel:
Yes, today no crowd at all. This morning also went to Unity as my hubby also prefer Unity. Was told that already 90 applicant who is <1km to compete for 67 vacancy, then very firm to register at Yew Tee. Although Yew Tee will go into balloting, but think not so bad....hope for the best...
I will definitely attend the balloting session.
I wonder if out of ballot, can put waiting list immediately, in case some parents withdraw before school term starts next year?
Any parent has experience? I am super..super...kiasu now. -
Anna Ng:
Yah, think this is the only choice left lor if kenna phrase 2c supplementary.....Dear Tri-Mum:

Just called DLS, confirmed 104 within 1 km and been told that DLS has started to advise those > 1km to register school of their 2nd choice.hi honeybeel, u r back.....
yup anna, i guess so too....104 are those w/n 1km ones. so with 102 spaces, if w/n 1km is between 100-120, still quite high chance for ballot success mah.... 1 : 1.15...

Now YT needs ballot but DLS does not. It is a no-brainer to go to DLS now. Considering the chances available and comparing the two schools. Think those who stay near DLS but opt-ed for YT can withdraw and flow back to DLS.
