Think that was the case for Southview in phase 2B. 53 within 1km balloted for 52 places. But the person can try under 2C again. -

Haha, but this forum usually not as active in 'normal' times. We got a lot of newbies last few weeks due to the P1 registration exercise. I wonder how many will stay on after it all ends? :?

Tri-mum:
...I have a question, if the school exceed less than 3 applicants from the available vacancies, do you think they will still proceed with balloting or close one eye and accept all of them :?
Even if demand exceeds supply by HALF a kid, there will be balloting. It is that strict. Regarding the issue of twins, it only applies if the twins' number is the last one to be picked during the ballot, in which case there is no choice for the school but to accept that additional twin in its cohort by enlarging its enrolment, since it cannot possibly bump off anyone who balloted successfully earlier. However, if the twin's number is selected any other time during the ballot, their additional numbers will consume the places of the current ballot. So their single ticket could mean 2 more more places being used. Imagine if triplets or quadrupets are involved! :!: -

But if after including the twins or triplets, we get a cut-off situation, then the school will also have to accomodate the extra students rite?
Btw chief, how to get HALF a kid?

suay ah!! I think for Phase 2B the disappointment is more especially with all the PV duties served already, I feel particularly bad for those cases where there were no history of any balloting in that phase before...
..consolation is still got one more Phase to try.. but if Phase 2C is one of those sure ballot.. :faint: -

:!: Chief ah, that's way too scary to imagine.. later got nightmare... -

Yah and if u so 'sway' to ganna ballot out for that one seat in 2B, it be even tougher to ballot with so many others in 2C.Ya, if me for sure...

That happened to my fren b4 (balloted out in 2B and 2C twice). But luckily she managed to get a place after appealing.
