Ohh.. Thanks alot KP!Under the PV scheme, once selected and accepted by school, both parents are automatically included for contribution to the 40hours. Some school activities like cooking class will prefer ladies PV, while outdoor like camping will see more guy PV..
In my case, only myself attended the PV selection interview conducted by school.
When I was told of the positive interview outcome, both parents are included in the school PV namelist

It really depends on the school. I believe generally if you have done a reasonable chunk of time, they will find some way to help you complete the requisite hours. -
Autumn82, do note Marymount did conduct balloting under phase 2C for those staying out of 2km in year 2006 (dragon bb cohort).
Oneheart, yes it really depend on individual schools. For mine, the PVG will email all parents whenever they have any assignments. So whoever interested will respond to the email. Generally quite easy to clock the 40 hrs, no problem. -

er ... Nanyang is not under SHHK. SHHK primary schools are Ai Tong, Tao Nan, Chongfu, Nan Chiau and Kong Hwa
Different Schools assign different type of duties for PV. -

The list of duties is listed in the form. It will likely help your chance of being selected if you can specify some specialised skills other than those listed. -

I would advise you to register early also. NYPS need min 80 hours versus MOE min of 40 hours.tot of puting my girl in nanyang pri...but must be PV since i'm not hokkien nor frm the school before....what exactly we must do for PV??
