PEPS was the very first sch I heard of doing such a thing so I was rather :!: and it kinda got stuck in my brain lor. haha
 I was checking it out but really as you said the sure balloting is a big deterrent.. so dropped from my list already..

RRMummy:
At least the pri schs in BB are more \"spread out\" in terms of location so situation not as bad as in CCK.schellen:

That's true, seeing the demand for the CCKs schools really makes me

The thing is this year the trends is quite unpredictable for many schools after the reduction in the seats... i think next year will be just as bad if not worse.. think they might cut more classes since 2004 even lower birth rate and move towards single session..

I think my DD's sch cannot cut classes anymore cos they changed to single session some time ago, and I noticed they opened one more class just for my DD's batch (maybe to enhance teacher-student ratio?), then they cut that extra class for next year's batch. I think my DD's sch is popular as a back-up cos historically, their Phase 2C (Supp) intake is a big proportion. -

It is true. They have enough parent volunteers and alumni assisting already.Imp75:
CHIJ TP told me they dont take in PVs too, I wonder how true is it?
Hi Imp75, Did you find out from the shool or is it hearsay?
If directly from school then must be true... -
hi,
I am new here. My boy is born in year 2005. I have not started any PV so far and I am afraid I mgiht be late now:(
In fact, prior 3year to P1, I have called Rulang Pri that they said we have called too early, that is the reason we thought we still have time till now. I am staying at Taman Jurong area.
Going thru the lists above, Princess Elizabeth Primary (BB) and Jurong Primary are my choice of schools. May ask by not accepting PV mean we have no avenue to get in with priorities? or how does it work?
Any advise from parents here the good schools to consider in the Jurong areas and what shall I do now? Very lost le..
thanks in advance

If you still want to aim for Phase 2B, I'm not sure if it is too late to join RC, etc. You can ask here: http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=420hi,

Phase 2B for these 2 schs, I think no other option cos they are not affiliated to any clans or religious organisations. -

Hi hot, for Rulang, you are NOT too late for your Y2005 boy. But you have to call them soon and get their advice on the necessary procedures.hi,

Yes, I agree with Schellen, your only option is to try RC is you want to go for Phase 2BGoing thru the lists above, Princess Elizabeth Primary (BB) and Jurong Primary are my choice of schools. May ask by not accepting PV mean we have no avenue to get in with priorities? or how does it work?
Good luck! -
