      Hihi,

I am planning to visit Taipei in November bringing my 2 boys (6Y and 2Y) and trying to decide which Theme Park to go WOC or Leofoo village. Any recommendation?

        Hi starry & Starlight,

Many thanks for your sharing, may I know ur trip is by F&E or by Tour? If F&E can share your Taipei Itinerary....
Mine was really free & easy.
We went to the Flora Expo, CKS memorial, Sun Yat Sen memorial, Taipei 101, Yeliu National Park, Fishermen Wharf, Eslite Bookstore (24 hr bookstore), shopping, Jiu Fen (nice place but unfortunately it was raining heavily when we were there), Shi Lin Night market etc.
We stayed at a hotel near Xi Men Ding subway station and used it as a base. We ate a lot of local food. Almost every night, we would have Ah Zhong Mian Xian for supper.
We took the High Speed Rail to Tai Chung to visit the Salt Mountain. Unfortunately due to the heavy rain, we did not get to the Mountain. Instead we found an eatery and started to eat
There are plenty of 7-11 and in there, there is yong tou fu (called Guan Dong Zhu). The weather was cold (we went in Dec), and we returned to hotel with a bowl of steaming yong tou fu!

The Salt Mountain has a ATV (All terrain vehicle) track, very fun.

                Hi,

                I’m new here. I’m a SAHM to 3 children under 9yo.

Planning to travel to Taipei this Nov/Dec 2011. Wanted to redeem tickets from SQ but almost all flights are on waiting list. Might consider flying Jetstar instead. Anyone flew on Jetstar before? Any comments?

I book SQ for Nov flight, they got this specialy promotion at $583.60 inclusive all taxes. Less than $100 different from Jetstar.
