BPPS under which Phase?[/quote]P2A2, but must take sch bus so abit inconvenient lor
Thanks for info! I've a place in Bukit Panjang Pri but requires son to take sch bus from caregiver's house. Was trying to see if I could get a place nearer to caregiver's house which doesn't require him to take a bus. Looking at the situation, I think I'll stay put n Bukit Panjang. :boogie:tehc:

I see from other thread that 93 of them are less than 1km so u must have a back up plan. From the pass history, balloting is required with 1km.

so if those staying within 1km from school missed the day 1 registration, then how? by the above 'new rulings', parents will be limited to only 1 registration day; very tight ah!I wonder whether MOE can come out with rules for phase 2c as follows:
day 1 - registration for those staying within 1km of school.
day 2 - registration for those staying between 1-2km of school.
day 3 - registration for those staying over 2km of school.
Parents who want to register their children to school of their choice can have first hand information on available places after each day according to their school/home distance and need not waste time registering on the first or second day and find out on day 2/day 3 that they do not stand a chance and have to look for alternative school.
the current 'call-the-school-to-find-out' method is good enough.
if really want to convenience us, MOE maybe get the school to submit breakdown of application by end of the day and get it published on the website. -

a better idea would be to separate (or rename) phase 2c for those staying within 1 km of school ... and at the same time allow 2-3 days for registrationI wonder whether MOE can come out with rules for phase 2c as follows:
day 1 - registration for those staying within 1km of school.
day 2 - registration for those staying between 1-2km of school.

and if at all possible, give Singaporeans priorities over PRs too -

Good Morning...it must be one of the most stressful period of your lives...Phase 2C and those staying within 1km.
All the best to you. -
Just came back from registering at chij olqp. I was queue no 73.
Here are some figures as at the end of yesterday’s session:
within 1 km. : 21
1-2km. : 24
outside 2km. : 24 -
Q no 73 mean u r the 73rd person turn up to the school this morning? Seems lots of parent wait till last day!
-
Ya… some will go on the last day after the stat last night… if they are confident that they can register without the need to ballot…
