Really?! Can try balloting right?jeanieg:
Can anyone enlighten me? I am gonna try chij olqp tmr but am living out of 2km so may not even have a chance! If so I will have to go bukit timah pri under 2c supp. If I want to be on the wait list for MGS or chij olqp, how do I go about it? Do I do it only during the registration phases and times or I can do it any time?
If you are more than 2KM from CHIJ then in that case you can straight away go to Bukit Timah in 2C....
for waitlist it can be anytime. -
tehc:
BPPS under which Phase?
Thanks for info! I've a place in Bukit Panjang Pri but requires son to take sch bus from caregiver's house. Was trying to see if I could get a place nearer to caregiver's house which doesn't require him to take a bus. Looking at the situation, I think I'll stay put n Bukit Panjang. :boogie:nettie:
I see from other thread that 93 of them are less than 1km so u must have a back up plan. From the pass history, balloting is required with 1km.

Results are out

I wonder whether MOE can come out with rules for phase 2c as follows:
day 1 - registration for those staying within 1km of school.
day 2 - registration for those staying between 1-2km of school.
day 3 - registration for those staying over 2km of school.
Parents who want to register their children to school of their choice can have first hand information on available places after each day according to their school/home distance and need not waste time registering on the first or second day and find out on day 2/day 3 that they do not stand a chance and have to look for alternative school. -

so if those staying within 1km from school missed the day 1 registration, then how? by the above 'new rulings', parents will be limited to only 1 registration day; very tight ah!I wonder whether MOE can come out with rules for phase 2c as follows:
day 1 - registration for those staying within 1km of school.
day 2 - registration for those staying between 1-2km of school.
day 3 - registration for those staying over 2km of school.

the current 'call-the-school-to-find-out' method is good enough.
if really want to convenience us, MOE maybe get the school to submit breakdown of application by end of the day and get it published on the website. -

a better idea would be to separate (or rename) phase 2c for those staying within 1 km of school ... and at the same time allow 2-3 days for registrationI wonder whether MOE can come out with rules for phase 2c as follows:
day 1 - registration for those staying within 1km of school.
day 2 - registration for those staying between 1-2km of school.
day 3 - registration for those staying over 2km of school.

and if at all possible, give Singaporeans priorities over PRs too -
Hi tech,
Will u try St Anthony? Since u stay within 1km or stay put on BPPS? -

Best of Luck
