curious ... so far between NUSH and SST, which one easier to enter ?

any reason why some parents prefer NUSH instead of SST, or vice versa ?

both these 2 Secondary schools main focus is to concentrate in grooming up P6 kids to become future Engineers one day, am i right ?

besides groom up future Engineers, what other career profession(s) will these 2 schools groom them into, once they enter from Sec 1 onwards ?

      Thanks for info.
      Hi

Yes, nush groom more towards scientist n researchers. Whereas SST more towards engineers. My nephew is at SST year 1 n he really enjoys school. SST needs to take o level.

since he is the grandson of potential President, any school he apply will definitely welcome him with open arms. He is a super VIP candidate !

Why? Does he put \"Tan Ah Long (grandson of Mr Tan AA - President Applicant)\" on his application form or something???

I just called nygh today. No more Dsa positions available for my dd.. Sigh.. Didn't even get called for an interview.

The good news is, njc ability test results not yet out. So there's still chance for my dd. Furthermore, I heard non-gep students got equal chances with gep students too..I certainly hope this is true.

            Good Luck, cindylauper.
Hope U Receive Good News from NJC.

Thanks, keeping my fingers crossed.. :xedfingers:
Hi are there any mainstream students being offered co fm nus high? It seems that all are fm gep.

My dd is a mainstream student

my DD WL from NUSH from mainstream.
I think WL will have good chance if you put it as first choice. NUSH usually leave with very few vacancies for PSLE in-take. The cut-off point from PSLE will depend on the applicants each year. Last year the PSLE cut-off was 264. May be because last year PSLE papers was easily and most good students crowded around 260 - 265. The year before and before , COP was 25++ .

The choice will be my DS's. I am letting him decide, if he get more than one CO.
