      Hi,

Anyone from NE area (Kovan / Hougang) can advise good chinese learning center for my current K1 gal ? Thought of sending her for chinese enrichment classes when she turns K2 (6 yrs old). Heard much about Woodland Berries learning center , any commends on Hougang Berries learning center?
My son is 2.5 yrs old now, is it advisable for him to start early?

This whole brain Chinese Children programmes is quite interesting and would like to share with mummies. This rethinking school provide an interactive research approach that

introduces powerful words recognition through memory and thematic exercises.

They posted lots of live videos on the web that
you can see kids learning in the class.

Hi, I’m templating whether to send my DD (P1 next year) to Xue Er You Language School (run by Dr Liang Wern Fook) or Tien Hsia for Chinese enrichment class at Choa Chu Kang. I’m not sure which is better, can anyone review if your child is studying at Xue Er You or Tien Hsia for primary school level. Thanks

Hi Tri-mum, we meet again at this thread...heeehhee..

after the 'stressed-up' event of P1 registration, all's quiet
over the other end so I'm having post-event blues....

Anyway, my son's been attending Tien Hsia since he was
4 and he's been there ever since till now into his K2.
I would say teachers at CCK Tien Hsia are pretty professional
and dedicated. My son's K2 teacher has been with him
since he was K1 and hence she sort of know his strength &
weakness. That goes to show also the school's staff turnover
ratio is pretty low - which means teacher is happy with
school management = less change of teacher = kids r happier
              with familiar teachers.....

I think there is a trial class to start off with so if you are unsure
which centre is better, u cld ask for a trial class.... at least for
              Tien Hsia..... 😉

Hi baby2momma, glad we \"meet\"again. Ya, you're right....everyone seems to disappear after the stressful period. 😉 maybe all will be back to the forum after the orientation or when the school starts next year. Btw, didn't see Anna's online leh or maybe she is in other thread?

Actually, my DD is studying at Tien Hsia at CCK currently. But I heard they are good in pre-school but I'm not sure abt the Primary level since no much feedback on Primary level for CCK branch. So I'm trying to gather more information and decide between Xue Er You and Tien Hsia for next year. Think got to decide in 2 mths times because both centre are equally hot and need to make reservation for next year.

                  Dear mummies…

I’m also thinking of enrolling my son (K2) to a good chinese class. Realised that many attended Tien Hsia and Han… wonder which is better. A little late for my son to start but… later is better than never. Hope to hear from mummies out there…

                    Hi tri-mum,

Oh, so your girl's in Tien Hsia currently too??
Hmmm... our kids may be in the same class
                    for all we know..... 😉

Yup - I understand your concern for having
to decide between those two language centres.
For me, I'm pretty pleased with Tien Hsia's
teaching methods till now & like I mentioned,
their staff turnover are pretty low so I reckon
the teachers there are pretty motivated.
So, I will still continue with TH for DS's P1
enrichment & see how he progresses from there...

TH's primary level enrichments are quite 'hot'
& I understood they give priority to their
existing pre-schoolers first before new enrolments.

Not too sure abt the Xue Er You...mebbe other mummies
                    can comment....

Ps : Anna, where are u????

Hi Blessedmum, it's never too late to start now. I'm not familiar with Han but heard that Berries and Tien Hsia are good for pre-school. If you are preparing your son for P1 next year, I think Xue Er You has intensive lessons on Han Yu Pin Yin and some basic writings to get them prepare during the school holidays. You can call to check on their timetables.

Ya, you're right...maybe shld stick with them first and see how my DD's progress after the 1st term. Quite helpless in Chinese so has to reply on a good tuition.

Oh Ya, finally saw Anna on DLS thread. 😉
