My girl used to be in their K2P1 class for a very short while before she had ballet lessons that clashed. She will joining their P1/2 class this year end. Her class was on tuesday. So I think they still should have K2/P1 class on tuesday at 5 pm. If you cannot get them on the phone, you can sms them on one of their lines. That is what I do when I want to discuss my son’s make up lessons.

        Hi,

I believed the current K2/P1 class will be separated into the Fri and Sun slot due to most of the students would be in afternoon session. So the current class available is on Tue 5pm to 7pm.

          Hi,

I have not gone down to purchase their creative writing book but I heard about their synthesis and grammar guide book, that it was good. Anyone knows if non-tas parents can buy it? I remember hearing from my colleague something about it being only for tas parents. Is that true? I would really like to get one as I need help to explain the grammar rules to my dd.

I don’t think the grammar and synthesis book is available to non tas parents. At least the last I heard, that was the case.

              hi cheerymummy,

At the launch, parent was only allowed 1 copy per student; I was unable to buy more for friends (non-TAS). Anyway, if you go browse popular, there are some titles that also look pretty good - dun HAVE to be TAS printed.

                Hi,

Would you be able to provide author of the synthesis book that popular is selling.

                  hi monstermummy,

there was one book that was recommended in another thread (http://resource.marshallcavendish.com/mcdoc/console/DocumentDetail.aspx?viewType=&id=48971&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1).

It was for P5 level. I bought it anyway becos there weren't any for lower levels and I figured that if the concept is clearly explained, nonid to wait till P5 to explain. I remembered buying another one, lemme go check.

                    Hi hquek,

Thank you very much for your recommendation. I have seen some of the synthesis books
that have notes and they are rather clear but I heard that the TAS book has grammar notes for the more complicated grammar and the synthesis notes are explained in the way where the common mistakes children make are put down. That is what my friend told me and she said that for the common synthesis books available, they give you notes but not posible mistakes that are made and as a parent it helps to know what are the possible mistakes so when you guide your child, it is easier.

Your child is at TAS? Can you help me ask them if they are willing to sell to non TAS parents? :please:
For upper pri, once more than 12 students, they also have an assistant.

The admin said there'll be no assisstant for upper primary, sometimes the class can be packed with more 16 people. Some came for make up.If your kid who can focus well will not have problem as not every kid can focus well in big group.

I don't think so. For upper pri classes, such as the one my ds is in, there is an
assistant once there are more than 12.
Your son's class is on which day? He's lucky to have an assistant teacher. My friend's son is in sat's class no assisstant teacher, more than 14 already.

                        Hi kitty2,

Is your son in the P5/6 class on Sat? Mine is and there are quite a number of students,
don’t know exactly how many and there has been an assistant teacher ever since the class
grew big. She is this teacher who is rather small-size. My son says she is quite strict.
