Yep. Just called home. Leave Chinese paper 1. His class too have a few good one. Did your boy scored well? My boy dud well. Band 1. He wants to go the two top class.
My son told me his Chinese score is 1.5 less than full marks, missed top 1. Other subjects are also ok. May join the good class in p3. -
Your boy is good. My boy did not score that well for his Chinese paper, he mentioned the comprehension is tricky. Most of his friends wants to go top class. So stressful. Do you think the teachers are better for the two class?

I totally have no idea about the teachers. I never met his current teacher. There will be a teacher parent meeting this nov. I will first time see his teachers. This may be a good topic for the meeting.

Do your kids take enrichment classes? If yes, mind sharing where? They get such good grades!

My boy enrichment course is music and sports. He took speech and drama course ib British council in p1 for half year. My friends told me learning lab is the best for tuition. All nanyang kids are there, and expensive.

Wow, so your boy is naturally good at his work! Tks for sharing.

My boy has music and Chinese enrichment class. He attended Jiang Chinese since p1. We just started Morris Allen for creative writing. Not bad.

Hi parents, congrats and well done for all the kids whom had done well in their exams. Keep up the good work!
Need some advise from the parents here. My DS will be in P1 next year and i would like to check if any one of you are aware whether there will be any changes to the text book list for next year (compared to the one in 2011). I understand the book list will be given out to parents during the orientation but i would like to check around for hand-me-down books before heading down to buy the books during orientation. Any info on this is appreciated! Thanks! -

Anypone knows what is the criterial to the twinning class? Pass the GEP round 1 or the SA2 result?
MOE will select the students based on how they do in GEP round 2 - may or may not be selected for twinning class even if your kid pass GEP round 1.
