Looking at the balloting history, only 2006 required balloting in P2B. But that was the dragon year.
Hence, in a way, you are safe if you qualify to register in P2B. However, things can always change.
Agreed with QMS is like almost 99.99% able to get into HPPS thru Phase 2B unless have 0.01% of Grassroot members appear in to compete. :celebrate: -

Actually, the numbers in the balloting history include grassroot leaders. Perhaps the sentence should be re-phrased as \"unless have 0.01% of sudden surge in the number of Grassroot members\".
Perhaps HPPS does control the number of intake for PV. It is better than to accept many PVs (like what one of the schools in Jurong did), only to disappoint some parents who had performed PV work. -

Yes, HPPS does indeed control the number of PV intake. Hence it is not easy to be selected as one. But once u are selected, chances are pretty good. -
Hi all,
I have done PV for 16 hours in March 2009 and my girl needs to register P1 next year (2010). I have emailed school for many times but there is no task for me. Will my 16 hours be wasted? Should I keep approach school for task or should I just sit and wait for task to come to me? -

Push the school. Don't wait for them to come back to you for tasks. You have another 24hrs to go before next July, so you don't really have a lot more time.Hi all,

Which school?Hi all,

I am facing this problem with JPS and have called up the school several times but there is no task for me. -
For parents in above predicament, keep calling the school. I clocked some hours in 2008 (for 2010 enrolment). Came 2009 it was strangely silent.
Only after repeated calls then the school realised that it got my email address wrong - that was one of the reasons why I did not receive any notification (another would be the reduced activities in light of H1N1). -
:? Hi all, I'm trying to get my daughter into Singapore Chinese Girl Pri School and our home is within 1-2 km (Zone 2) of the school.
I'm planning to join Parent Volunteering program to register for Phase 2B, any suggesting for increasing my chance? -
hi Anthony,
I recalled from past posts that SCGS does not accept PV for registration purposes. You may want to try the grassroots way to get into 2B. But of course, no harm calling up the school to ask.
