:thankyou: tanmeowlan. Will look out for it.BlurBee:
I bought for my DD last year (P1). The condition of the bag is not good now. Will get her a new bag soon. Now planned to get a SPI bag since a lot of parents here recommended it.

Usually there is promotion during the school holiday. Look out for the advertisement on ST newspaper.

It really depends on how many CCAs your dd wants and has the time to take part. The school encourages students to sign up for at least One CCA. For girls in my ds class, Uniform group, Brownies, is popular, which is on Mondays, together with the Boys Scouts which belongs to the \"same family group\" so to speak. Most of the CCAs are on Mondays and Fridays from what I know. Can anyone share their experience with KHS CCAs? Was told most are once a week on Mondays. Which are the good ones and which are not popular? My dd going to be P3 next year.
Are they schoolbuses to bring them home after CCAs?
There will be a CCAs Open House which I highly recommend all parents to visit & find out more before making any decisions. There is also a talk at this event as well as Q&A session with the CCAs teachers-in-charge, to answer queries from parents. The small room will be packed, so if you want a seat, please arrive early. You can visit the different booths after the talk. -

Noted with Thanks. Cannot imagine to spend so much on a school bag. It's only less than $5 during my time.

Hi Pinkie
Last yr Brownies was on Fridays, so now it’s changed to Mondays ? My dd2 also interested in Brownies. Wonder when will be the CCA open house ? Somewhere in Jan ? TIA. It’s great that exams are finally over and my dd2 can relax - used to have homework every day ! They had a walk for rice charity event yesterday and my dd2 claimed she has walked about 3 km (around the school compound). So nice of them to think of such an interesting charity event. She said today they’re going to walk again. -
Hi my dd is also keen on Brownies. Need to find out more about it.
Recently heard that p3 will be having swimming classes? -
Hi ningy, I don’t remember the open house was that early. I think it was after CNY, mid to end Feb. I was told it’s too crowded to accommodate the 3 uniform group on Friday. So now only BB is on Friday.
As far as I know, swimming is a cca & not a compulsory sport. -

[quote=\"Peowge\"]My DS1 will be in Primary class 5 next year. Anyone else?
Hi,
My DD is in Class 1-2 next year. I bought on Wednesday. I just get it (those non optional items) as I do not want to wait till orientation day. It may be too crowded.
Just wonder who had gotten the $45 school bag from KHS bookshop? Is it good?
Hi Dankhim,
My DS is also in Class 1/2 next year - keep in touch. -
Hi Pinky
Yes u’re right. I’ve called the General Office yesterday and spoke to the teacher in charge of Brownies and confirmed that it’s on Monday. Will have to attend the CCA open house to check other CCAs, otherwise I think my DD2 will be joining Brownies like her sister. Her sister had a good time although the teacher in charge is rather fierce - not sure if it will be the same teacher next yr. -
