      Superlucky:
:? I did a quick investigation.. Under ks mummy profile, she has NO children, how can she bought 2 sets for her \"CHILDREN\" ha..??? Moreover she said she does not stay in Singapore, how come she is so well informed of all the advertisements of Atwood ? Next, if she is a genuine parent here, why can't she reveal her details instead trying to hide discreetly..?

I guess she could be the undercover or owner of Atwood company..what a shame! Merchants who try to win parents trust and money, simply pose and promote products to deceive all of our ks parents here, humiliating all parents here as suckers!

Let me be the first parent to boycott this company! Join me if you do not wish to be treat like another idoit or sucker for them! :stompfeet:

Thanks for your update. I am new at kiasu parents did not know that you actually can need to create a profile. LOL.... Just updated my information.... I am a parent of 3 and staying at Bukit Timah.. hohoho... if I am the owner of Atwood then I will create everything carefully and will not make any mistake.

Now you make us think that you look more like a COMPETITOR of Atwood. Sorry to say that but just a small mistake from me you make a big fuss of Atwood and want all parents to boycott the company. If you are not a Merchants that are selling expensive things to us (parents) then why would you want to do this. Why you want us to pay lesser?

I just a parent helping other parent to save money. I also worry that other parents could be cheat by owner of company and agree to your view on owner pose and promote products. That is why I am sharing good deal that I had found. In future, I will share more deals here.

Final decision is still up to parent to decide who to buy from. I believe parent will also shop around (Ergoworks, Kinderfun and Atwood) like me. Before they make any decision. We are not so stupid like what you think.

        Dear All

Kiasuparents.com welcomes all companies and individuals to market & promote their products and services here. For the benefits of our fellow members, we expect these companies & individual to do so in compliance of our forum's ad posting rules.

Masquerading as customers to promote own products \\ services or to condemn competitors' is strictly disallowed and anyone found doing so will be banned & the banning will be posted for all to see.

And in my personal opinion, all consumers like honest vendors that they feel they can trust. If the product \\ service is good, there is no reason to engage in any such negative activities.

        🙂

Initially was deciding between kinderfun and kids2youth. Then DH surfed the web to find a 3rd company for comparison purpose and he chanced upon this thread. So strange that I did not think to search here first. 😂

The 3rd place we decided to visit was Atwood. Initially we did not want to visit there becos of some posts here regarding the place. But I told my DH, one man's meat is another man's poison. In the end was attracted by the price and wanted to check if the quality is still ok for us to seriously consider over the others.

We took our 3 kids there, by cab late morning, becos needed to let our older kids test the chair and the height of the table. The traffic within the industrial park is ok. The taxi dropped us infront of the showroom. It's air-con and carpeted. We were required to take off our shoes to enter the showroom and leave the shoes outside the door.

To my layman's eyes and hands, the set that we finally purchased from Atwood is comparable in quality to the others that we have seen. DH likes the \"clip on\" lock function, sorry dunno what's the right technical term. For DH, he wanted a lock function after the desired height is adjusted using the air system. I like the \"lever like\" thing by the side of the table to increase and decrease the slant angle of the tabletop. It was easy for us to operate.

Overall we like the feel, quality and price, so we ordered a set for our kids.

The ergo table and chair is an expensive \"investment\" so as trained in the workplace, we compared the prices with 3 companies and then decide. I think this is the SOP that many parents use.

Oh ya, if there are parents who decide to visit Atwood after my post, pls call them first becos I'm not sure when the promotion will end. Peace out.

Thanks for sharing your experience at Atwood, SAHM_TAN. :celebrate:

We are on the lookout for desks n chairs for our DDs too.
Niwaes... it IS about time to get them proper place for
work. May not be able to invest as much with ergo
ones since we need to buy two, but this thread
served a good read for research purposes.

I have banned chillymunster for continuously masquarading as a customer of Kid2Youth, despite several direct & indirect warnings.

                  chillymunster owns Kid2Youth.

This banning is something that I do not wish to do.

                    hmmm…

ksmummy is obviously from atwood. after all, they sell KuangShin desks (KS)… hence "ksmummy". ergoworks also sells kuangshin desks but at double the price. so it’s not a surprise that superlucky from ergoworks attack ksmummy.

                    this is funny.

Took me a while to post this. Atwood & Ergoworks are selling different tables but under the same manufacturer! KuangShin. I finally figured this out after much traveling n questionings! When I called Ben from Ergoworks, he kept insisting that their tables are called "Impact" but if u look closely at it, it is from KuangShin! He kept saying it is different from Atwood. I made my trip to Atwood (without the kids this time) to clarify this n see their new range of tables. They were honest enough to tell me their tables are from KuangShin, they did not repackage the table under their own name. They told me their tables n Ergoworks’ are from KS! just different model. What a shock! Shocked coz Ergoworks kept denying, till Atwood verified. Shocked coz of the price gap but almost the same product, just different model. Therefore for those who intend to buy KS products, go Atwood, it is much cheaper! As for the package n all, u have to see what works for you.

How about me? I didnt get from the both of them, ke. I went for Kid2Youth. Personal choice lah, service, value for money & product look.

We bought the tables and chairs from kinderfun a few years ago. Kids fought to use it. It was placed in their bed room.

Now, no one wants to use it. They rather do work on their bed, or on the floor in their room, right next to the table, or the dining table. Heartache for me coz we spend so much on it. So may want to think about investing so much. Novelty wears off, and it is now as good as a white elephant, and is used to hold their junk.
