Oh I see. She told me that she’s going to an Australian School.

Daughter is doing well in P1 but I think LV should change their syllabus to include multiplication and subtraction. I think they are missing that and we have to rely on enrichment or ourselves to teach them. Other than that, no issue with P1, transition was good.

          soursop:
Which Teacher is Teacher R? My DD teacher for last year K2 was Teacher R. I think she was very good. But I know she has left recently as she told me. Is she the one you all are talking about?

yupyup..suorsop.. we are referring to her.
she went over to an Australian-based pre-sch. i think its for the better as for her kind of passion, she needs a place more lively & creative.. ;))

Oops...I meant \"division\" in my earlier post and not \"subtraction\" as that is covered!

Yup...she is a very good teacher. My DD gets along so well with her and they appear more like \"buddies\" as what Teacher R referred her as. I guess DD was lucky to have her as her K2 teacher! :rahrah:

                    Hi mummies,

                    I’m new in this forum.

I’m looking for good childcare for my 2 kids (age 2.5 and 5). Any good recommendation? Looking for both PCF schools and private schools.

                      Hi haystack,

For PCF schools, one mummy told me the one at Admiralty Place is good under the Sparkeltots name. Both her children were there for their preschools years. However, there is a waitlist...

My advice to you is to go and check out the place so that you can compare the teachers, curriculum and environment. There are quite a few private ones near Woodlands Mart, last I check. I can't remember the names exactly.
