firefly, what does your chinese text mean?

        Something like 'cannot compare'..
Ms Tay, or Intermezzo, am I right?
Have a feeling, the words I use are wrong..
        Or should it be 望尘墨己?

I think it should be 望尘莫及. Now, too long never use chinese characters, must come online to 切磋切磋.

            ds just reaches home...

Did your DS stay back in school for CCA, or for something else? DS came home about 4.30, as lesson ended at 3.30 today.

Some people prefer greener pastures elsewhere, but I prefer green green grass of home..
The grass may look greener elsewhere, but it may not taste as good...
              所谓.. 老牛吃嫩草,青青河边草,不要吃太饱,走路会跌倒!
See, I can write Chinese poem too! 😉

Yes, there's no change in policy - DS is entertaining the thought of not taking HCL in year 5 and 6 and that's what pushes him on --- although he doesn't like to read Chinese papers, he is now reading Lian He Zao Bao almost everyday, learning words he don't know and find the meanings. But he's just started since Feb this year. So I'll give him some time to improve. By end of the year, if he still doesn't show results, then will ask him to switch to express CL (kuai jie hua wen). But I certainly pray and hope his efforts will pay off. Thanks for your adivce 🙂
He's so motivated and good boy. His hard work will pay off. 😄

it should be 五体投地, five body parts, not no body

五体投地 【拼音】:wǔ tǐ tóu dì 【解释】:两手、两膝和头一起着地。是佛教一种最恭敬的行礼仪式。比喻佩服到了极点。【出自】:唐·玄奘…
