Hi, I heard some schools often arrange remedial class even for P1 and one of my ex-colleague told me her son (p1) needs to stay back after school and the school bus does not make additional trip to ferry these children who stay back for CCA/remedial class unless they pay almost double of the fee :? .


Anyone from CHIJ LQOP? I understand that the school bus will arrange with the school to pick up children at 4pm for those who stay back for activities but any idea whether the school will make the children stay beyond the last school bus pick up?

My gal is in CHIJ OLQP, P2 level. Their school activities will have to end by 4pm and the school bus will be arranged to pick them up. So no worries. No additional charge for the school bus as it is already inclusive in the monthly bus fees.

Hi..I know this is really late my daughter is in CHIJ OLQP and yes they have a 4pm bus and the fees is included in the monthly bus fare. All CCA/Supp/Remedial end by 4pm .

Hi, I’m considering enrolling my girl for St Nicholas Girl in next year P1 registration. As I’m not an old girl, neither do we stay near the 2km range nor a PV. What are the chances of getting a place under P2C?

I have 2 students from CHIJ (Nativity).

They love school alot. They'll tell me about school.

They have alternative assessments (book reviews, presentations, etc) instead of the regular tests for CA. Good for hardworking students, bad for my students who depend on me to prepare them (without doing any prep work beforehand).

Though they are not academically very strong, I see that the kids are happy. Letters and notice to parents are quite prompt too. They always manage to give me a copy of the exam schedule & scope rather early.

I'm not too sure if it's the family background of the 2 girls I teach (they come from different families but very similar backgrounds) but I think that the school lets them have too much fun, they don't know how to focus & cannot take stress.

My other students from other girls' schools (St Nic, CHIJ TP, PLMGS) can handle stress better than those two, but it may be due to how they are brought up, not the school.

For Phase 2C, there's always balloting for those who stay within 1km. So I'd say there's no chance given your circumstance.
