      Yerdua:
      Hi ctcc,

How is the schoolbag load like for pri 1 in the first half of the year?

I wonder if we can make do with a Big cartoon character backpack or a ergonometric bag for heavy loads is more suitable?

      Thanks! :?
Invest in a good and plain ergo bag, and not some cartoonsy bag which can become a liability after the fad passes.

        Hi, mangokiwi & Yerdua

My boy is currently in P1.

The reading test is in english. The LSP start around Feb if I remember correctly.

The sch might look small not alot of stall but the teachers are really good. I am quite lucky that my boy teachers are all very good. There’s quite alot of hmewk daily. By early Sep, we already hv the 3rd parents teacher meeting session.

The schoolbag load is still quite ok for my boy. Somedays it wl be heavier if music, social studies, art are on the same day.

Hi, my name is Nick and I have one daughter in P2 this year, and the second one is going to P1 in January. I hope that we can share here our experience and knowledge about the school. So far I have to say that I am satisfied. I am a foreigner, so many things seem to me strange, ridiculous or simply weird, but I am getting used to it. One thing I am certain of - the principal is really nice and supportive.

              Cheers

Which class is she going to ? My son will be in 1H as stated in the letter sent to us.

Ok, so let’s start talking about CCA in Juying. I still try to understand the whole concept and I would be glad to discuss it.

I would like to check with you parents, every morning what time must the student reach school ? I saw from their website they have a reading session before assembly every morning.
