For kids I definitely would recommend to go to the oceanographic institute at the southern tip of Phuket. You can also have a tour on a real oceanographic research boat. My kids really like it.

      Hi softmatsg,

can you elaborate more on the Oceanographic Institute? How do we go there? Does the tour operator organise trips there? What do you do at the place?

      Thanks.

It is called Phuket Marine Biological Center and it also hosts an aquarium. We got there by Tuk-tuk as we also visited Phuket Town on the same day.
More details can be found here: http://www.phuket-tourism.com/where_to_go/phuket_marine_biological.htm [/url]

Going up end of this month to Phuket near Patong for the first time.

Any tips or advice for family fun-filled activities?
For me Patong is the worst possible place for a \"family fun-filled activities\". There are so many nice beaches around Patong and I hope that what you say that is \"near\" is one of those I have in mind. For kids I definitely would recommend to go to the oceanographic institute at the southern tip of Phuket. You can also have a tour on a real oceanographic research boat. My kids really like it. The best way to visit Phuket is to hire the Tuk-Tuk for the full day. It shoudl cost you no more than 600-800 Bht. Ask the tuk-tuk driver to drive to a local seafood restaurant - you can eat delicious and fresh seafood there for half the price.

Ok, so let’s start talking about CCA in Juying. I still try to understand the whole concept and I would be glad to discuss it.

Hi, my name is Nick and I have one daughter in P2 this year, and the second one is going to P1 in January. I hope that we can share here our experience and knowledge about the school. So far I have to say that I am satisfied. I am a foreigner, so many things seem to me strange, ridiculous or simply weird, but I am getting used to it. One thing I am certain of - the principal is really nice and supportive.

      Cheers
