Yes, likely to attend PTM as I have some doubts to clear regarding Y3 subject enrichment. Other than that, no news is good news.

U mean the streaming of them to the enrichment classes ?
In fact, i wish she isnt in that enrichment class.....
she kinda of regret din appeal to be transferred to other classes ( she actually asked me whether to appeal or not)
at the end of last yr when the streaming results were first out.

DHS does not participate in the Joint admission exercise.
I think taking in of O level students is case by case basis.

Hi jtoh,

At end of Y2, students choose their subj-combo option and at the same time, they can opt for subject/s to go for enrichment in Y3 and 4. It can be Math enrichment, Hist enrichment or Geog enrichment etc. I do not know how many such classes can a student take. :oops:

Students selected for specific subj will be grouped together for enriched and/or accelerated learning (in-class enrichment) and selection is merit-based. There are 30+ students in each of the two such subject classes that I know , that's top 10% for each subject.

DHS Open House is on 26 May 2012, Saturday.

It will be good to attend the Principal Talk to get more information. The program table may be on the school website at a later date.

And take note there are actually a form teacher and a co-form teacher, so each time slot there are 2 ongoing sessions. I noticed from booking that the 1st page timeslots are mostly taken up whilst the 2nd page is quite empty. Click on 2nd page timeslots from the left column. Hope this helps those who are later and thought all slots are taken up.
