Thanks Pixy, I am really new here. Try to find the respective thread.Hi Creampuff,
I think you should read the respective threads on XueLin and BusyBee. My daughter is at XL, and its good. Not tried BB, but a forumer mentioned that she withdrew her daughter from BB and switched to XL. -

Monster Mummy:
Hi,
My kid is 8 years old, I should be lucky as he is quite easy with change. Maybe since young he has encountered Many changes like teacher and classes. But for my young, it might be a risk for me but if no choice I would still try to convince her. The young need to persuade.
U r so lucky, is he enjoying at the new center?
I tot the younger they are the easiler to change their classes, once they enter into PS, more tough to persuade them just like my nephew. -
My younger is more hard core difficult to persuade, elder one still okay.

May I ask if anyone can comment on the effectiveness of Hua Language Centre vs Tien Hsia?
-
Hi CMF, Thanks! Its useful.

I notice that XueLin’s compo class doesn’t expose the kids to Compo writing every week. From what I found out, they will do Compo for 1 week, Oral for the next, and then Compre for the subsequent lesson. Hence the pupils only the chance to write Compo once every three weeks on the average and IMO this isn’t sufficient.
Any parents with kids in XueLin have any comments re this please? -
Hello,
I am wondering how about the chinese enrichment programme in Hua Cheng @ Bukit Timh Plaza, as i am looking for my p5 boy who got terrible results in his recent chinese exam in SA1. I heard two of his classmates got very good marks who were having the enrichment classes at Hua cheng.
May I have some more feedback about Hua Cheng? As I am considering to sign with them, thanks in advance. -
Berries or Tien Hsia for kids age of 4 or 5?
Please advise mummies…looking at cck & bukit batok branch. thanks!!! -
Hello mummies,
I am new here! I am at the Jurong East area, looking for a chinese lesson for my boys K1 and P1. So far I narrowed it down to Han Language and Crestar's Chinese bridge. Anyone with kids doing their programs at this 2 centres? Care to share your thoughts? thank you! :?:
My P1 boy currently struggling with hanyu pinyin, so I decided to start K1 jj early this time!
