Pls let me know the name of the centre too. TIA 😓

Mind stretcher, although teh feedback given in this forum is not so good, I totally like it.

Clementi mall. I must say I like MS for Science and not for Maths. Maths did not suit for my DD. Now I am thinking even for Maths, I did not take enough steps to talk to the teacher. Talking/discussing with the teacher will help a lot. At least i believe in it. Teacher will then know that we are concerned.

Thanks. I have been contemplating for MS for the longest time too, however was quite hesitant due to the negative comnments received here. Thanks for your feedback.

My daughter is going to P3 next year. That means I have to start looking at science assessment for lower block all over again 😢

Sometimes, assessment written for upper and lower block could be by different authors. Instead of combing thru 200 pages, maybe we could update titles which we find useful every now and then.

              Hi Janet

My ds is going to p3 nx yr too. My worst subject was Science therefore thinking of buying some Science guidebooks and assessment books to prepare myself. My neighbor gave me a set of Everything you need to know about science (2009) by Patricia Chan-Dendroff. After reading so many valuable recommendations from you and other mummies, have shortlisted my wish list:

              Ultimate Science
              P3/4 Conquer Science (teachers@work)
              P3/4 Science Process Skills (teachers@work)
Your companion to Science-A complete guide to psle (fbp)
              Longman My Weekly companion
P3/4 Science Partner a complete guide to lower block (sap)
P3/4 Learning Science by Dianna Lane (sap)

Hope I got the names correct. In yr opinion, which are the must-buy ones? Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Sorry to interfere. I prefer Ultimate science (guide), Science companion or a very thick book lower block worksheets (can not remember the name, will check and let u know later) by Renee chong and three in one by Janet Sim.

                  hi steady berry,
Honestly, I am no expert in science. The titles I mentioned are through trial and error.
*P3/4 science partner is a simplified guide. In my opinion, no point getting it. For guide book, the EPH PSLE ultimate science is sufficient. It will take you all the way to p6.
*As for assessment, diff schools teach topics...so the 'Longman My Weekly Companion' may not be suitable. For my daughter, I will be getting separate books to train her in MCQ and Open-ended sections.
                  Hope this helps. 😄

                    Hi Janet

Thks. Will definitely get ultimate science. Will also try teachers@work but not the one from longman & sap. What other assessment books would u recommend?

                    Hi Happyh

Thks for recommending ultimate science. Pls do get back to me on the names of the books that u mentioned earlier or any other sci assessment books that you prefer. Really appreciate it.

I will take a look at the lower block ones I bought and let you know later. SAP & EPH for Science are not bad actually. For my older one, I experimented several titles/publishers when he was in P3. Fortunately he has a keen interest in science and willing to practise.
My son in P6 is using a few publishers, namely Renee Chong, jesslyn poh's MCQ (just education). Can't remember, too many

Besides those usual science assessments bks avail,

would be good to buy them the Mini Science encyclopedia (by panpac) and Science booster ( by Marshall Cavendish),
to provide them with additional info which are not found in textbks…
Or something similar if these are no longer avail…
