Thanks for your reply, I have confirmed with a berries teacher that correct answer is (b). (a) should be 制作。the model answer puts (a). Thanks again.

Cher is the short singlish form of teacher, using the last 4 words! Use Chinese word game , likely a snake and ladder games, very fun, I not so sure where I brought it from, try to find the games!

The major difference is that the 制造 is more referring that it needs a formal procedure and made in factory. While the 制作 is mostly saying that something is made by hands. Example, you can only say \"这双鞋是手工制作的\". Can't say \"这双鞋是手工制造的\".
