I overhead my DD's classmates crying and saying they worked so hard and ended up only getting 220++, I feel like telling them it's okay, just work harder, but I don't dare because their parents are shaking their heads and berating them. Yep likoko, I felt so sad for that boy from em3 who stood up, got on stage, behaved bravely while everyone cheered for him. Takes a lot of courage to go thru that. Yes, it's great to cheer him for doing well, but to single him out when his grades aren't fantastic, I wonder how he maintains a brave front. I felt so emotional when I saw him. Perhaps, schools should reconsider listing these kids who may prefer to remain hidden. Have some considerations for their fragile ego. They're still too young to handle such complex emos.

I am just lost for words...Ive just been here a few months ago and look at all the encouraging words and message I got from you parents. Yes, I will encourage my DS to work harder and hopefully get into Express. Next, Ive got to look for a good school around Hougang/Senkang/Punggol for NA. I live in Hougang.

Indeed hashroop, yr son will need you to be strong and be there for him. kiasu parents we may be, but a lot of us have been down the same road you're on. So, yep, do hang around and walk this long journey with folks here.

1 Swiss Cottage Sec Sch
2 Presbyterian High Sch
3 Nan Chiau High Sch
BTW can I ask something?
Does the PSLE score include the extra marks contributed by HCL?
If its correct then my PSLE score would be
234+2=236

depending if the sch is a SAP sch... if not, it is not counted

Unless you enter some schools. I forgot is SAP or Independent or IP. These acronyms are making me dizzy. :lol:
