Hi Starlight1968sg, Lavender_Tea and Millicent,
I was from Stamford Girls' too! Was there anyone there who was not taught by Mrs De Silva?
I love the old school building. Really misses the times
Those were the old days!
BTW, anybody from 6 Lotus and born in 1968 ?
.
All the names of the teachers ring a bell. My Chinese teacher was Mrs Goh? And of cos taught by Mrs Then and Mrs De silva. I just walked into the Waterloo campus a few months ago. I can still remember where my pri 1 classroom was. Was pointing out to DH where the canteen used to be....
Hi Starlight1968sg, Lavender_Tea, Millicent, dumpty and lizawa
Glad to meet all of you here!
Another former Stamford Girls School here, but my teacher was Mrs Abraham in Primary 1. Anyone taught by her before? -
Hi Kiasimi,
Me!! Taught by Mrs Abraham in P1, 1 Orchid to be precise, very stern but good Jewish teacher.
The school was known as Stamford Girls when I was in P1-P4, and merged with the neighbouring Waterloo School to become Stamford Primary when I was in P5-6. -

Do you happen to be in the class that has girls like Wu Jiafen, Ke Meifang, Zhu Lili etc? -
Hi Kiasimi,
BINGO!
Yes, I vaguely remembered the earlier 2 names, but I am still in touch with the last name. :rahrah:
Let's get in touch via PM. -
Hello kiasimi and chatty,
Do you have any children in this school? What levels are they in? Please share the experiences of yourselves as parents and your children as students of this school. Thank you. -

Unfortunately I am not able to share anything with you, as I graduated from the school some 30 years ago!
However, what I can share is from my experience, proximity is a very important consideration when choosing a school for your kid. It allows the child to wake up later in the morning and enjoy more sleep since since most schools are single morning session now. The kids can also reach home earlier after a tiring schoolday, and you yourselr would find it more convenient when you drop by the school for the Meet-the-parents session etc. -
I believe this thread is for parents with children in the school so we can share our experiences, so thatโs why I asked.

No school tomorrow and Friday. But no idea if thereโs e-learning.

Does anyone know if there is e-learning for P1 on 14 September?
