Base on what we got from HPPS during school visit, IRS and Computer enrichment programme both are arranged on Fri afternoon, 1.30-4.30pm. CL/HCL will be on Mon/Tue, 1.30-3pm, I think CL-Mon, HCL-Tue... not clearly stated. So already 2 out of 5 weekdays. Depending on which CCA u enroll your kid, u might need to allocate 1 more day... :roll:

May I ask those parents whose children r already in Henry Park - typically which day do they have to stay back for computer enrichment and higher chinese? (must start to logistic - sorry, I'm quite a \"last minute\" mum :!: )

Something is puzzling me - if they have to stay back for HCL, then what do they do during CL lessons? :?

Congrats .
My DS1 is currently in P4GEP in NHPS this year.
You can try talking to the school about transfering your younger son.
But do note that there will a change in the principal next year.
Currently principal Mrs Lee is really nice and helpful so maybe you should approach her before the change of the principal.

Those got into school with different PE uniform color (based on house), did they inform the house accordingly? Else how to buy the PE uniform? wait till first day of school? Or call the office next week?

P.S. Sent a PM to you.[/quote]This is what my DS has planned. He won't be taking HCL, so he said that the CCA that he choose will be on the same day as CLA & end at 5pm that day. In this case, he'll not need to stay back for another day.

Hi . I am new and I welcome myself :lol: . Next year P3 (kaisu mom again). Do you know roughly how many accept GEP offer every year and what is the fulfillment rate for Rosyth and NYPS. I know Rosyth have 2 classes and NYPS have 4 classes but no of seats filled up each year parents please advise (past statistics) :?:. Any one also know no of seats taken up in Rosyth for 2010

I have faxed in a letter about the transfer last week, hopefully they will look into it this week..Do you think they will entertain me, if I want to meet the principal and discuss about this issue?

Could you kindly share the following information for GEP at NHPS?

(1) Which are the designated days for afternoon classess (what timing?)for P4 and for what subjects?

(2) How many projects are required to do at P4 and whether children do them in school or bring home or at team members' home? what is the deadline like for P4?

(3) Are most GEP kids at this school active in their CCA? Are majority school team players?

(4) Is the HCL more difficult than that of mainstream P4? Any different?

Same as mine. I assumed yours is HPPS? I sent an email to HOD to check on which day is my DS suppose to stay back for CL... as i'm not sure if it is Mon/Tue... plus Fri (IRS), so already 2 days out. I do hope his CCA is following one of those days, to avoid another stay-back in school. I'm now looking through CCA and decide which one is he interested and then arrange for school bus... so now... logistic problem to solve. :?

Hi All

did you check the website. I think HPPS CCA list is updated and they have a contact person for each. check out. Also My friend whose DD next year P1 said they have orientation something on the first day for CCA and then given 1 week to decide.
