Fake faith in church in order to be eligible for P2B. Very Sad.

That's very real! i knew someone who contemplated to convert to Catholic just so the son can get into CHS. Though she eventually didn't, i still desprise such behaviour.

      Totally despicable behaviour. :stompfeet:
utterly despicable!
But if look at it from another angle, these parents do it ... out of desperate trying to enrol their child in, at an earlier Phase 2B instead of having to fight with masses at Phase 2C.

          Hi.

I want to check if my husband join SHHK as member , but he has no time to do volunteer work as he most weekend he works. I am not a hokkein ( this is a big issue ? ). Can I volunteer to help out at SHHK instead ?

Hokkien Huey Kuan (SHHK) - for Hokkien dialect folks only.

since you aren't Hokkien - cannot join, can't volunteer.
only your husband can join - because he is Hokkien.

Your hubby can become a member but you can volunteer on his behalf. Hope this helps.

Regardless of religion, it is the principle behind that is wrong. What morale high ground he or she has when the kid has integrity issue? What type of moral value does these parents want to impart to their next generation?

Baptise just to get themselves into the desired school? Really very sad.
