      MLR:
Thanks autumnbronze, I did that when I brought back a huge block of runny cheese the last time. I think if I pack it properly in tupperware, it should work.

Mathsparks, autumnbronze mentioned about a store in Toa Payoh Interchange and buds mentioned one @ Yew Tee point. The price of 3 pieces @$1 would be worth going all the way there. I may be getting like 50 pcs.

Bengawan too pricy and taste wise too \"refined\" for my liking. Kimchoo is ok, but also not as good as b4 they came out on the papers and mags reviews. I would go to Joo Chiat/Bedok during Ramadan(Muslim Fasting) period for kueh shopping .
      Hi MLR,

FYI, in case you are interested in purchasing the kueh from Toa Payoh ....

I stumbled upon the small shop by chance when I happened to take a shuttle bus to the interchange which stopped just in front of it. Its location is not really prominent. You have to go down to the bus bay area. The best way that I can think of giving you directions is that it is located near a shop selling kids stuff ie toys etc... So if you are standing outside the shop, turn to your left and walk in the direction.

      Hope this helps šŸ˜„

Hiya autumnbronze, thanks for the extra info.

Will go check it out this weekend and place order with them to collect the night b4 flight. I got a couple of cooler bag and a fridge-on-the go that I will be hand carrying on board. Jus got to resist snacking and finish the whole lot b4 landing

          mathsparks:
Yew Tee point have? Buds, got address anot? My sis stay in that neighbourhood.

Yew Tee MRT Station. From the main control station upon your exit,
walk straight ahead like 500m then turn left. Yew Tee Point is below
the Yew Tee Residences Condominium. Basement level where there
are many other popular stalls like Sweet Talk, Mr Bean... (etc)

The one time that I did find it embarassing was when we were in Narita airport and we had only 15 mins b4 boarding and I was in a frenzy looking for the Royce chocolate counter. I was practically running around like a headless chicken and asking everyone that passed me \"Royce? wheres Royce? U know Royce?...\" of course pple thought I was looking for someone name Royce and a sercurity guard had came up to me and asked if he could help me

I stared at him and said very slowly: \"ROYCE CHOCOLATE\" and made a eating sign. He went AAHH, and helped me find the counter which I bought like 10 boxes within 5 mins and ran to the other end of the terminal to board the plane with them announcing my name.
This time round, I made sure I had 2 hrs in transit, so I can shop for my fav chocolate
