Anyone knows which is better?
My gal is currently in Tien hsia. Haven’t seen any improvement in her though she has been in Tien Hsia for 5 years since N1.

Heard from adults that Busy Bees is good but 2 Busy Bees students complain the lessons are boring…

Hi, currently my girl is in Tien Hsia P1 enrichment class.

Now that she is going on to P2 next yr, am wondering shld I continue her P2 enrichment class or to switch her to the comprehension & composition writing class.

Can someone please share your views and experiences.

It would be wise to still remain at enrichment class as currently, the children are still in mid of expose to those chinese verbs and vocabulary, therefore, it would be good to build up their foundation. As my boy also in the enrichment class for P2 where I am also contemplating to let him to take up the writing class. But due to time constraint, i let him attend one class. Currently, in P3, the teacher also spend a small portion of the time to ask them to do writing during normal time.

It would be good to get the child to go through some writing phrases where I think that it did help them during the writing.

Hi,

I think that it would be wise to let the child remain at enrichment class as currently they are still exposed to learn new verbs and vocabulary. Even in P3, the teacher in normal class also go through a bit on writing.

If you are worry about her writing, maybe you let her memorise some writing phrases where I think that it did help.

I have already tried Jiang and Han.

But I found both of them are not good.

My 3 kids all attend SkyLace. The eldest (Sec 4) has attended since P3. The teachers are local or those who have been here a long time. I particularly recommend their primary program. They have a good methodology and structure. T Some of the teachers are very good and popular with kids. Need to note their material, worksheets and tests are pitched at more difficult level - good for those in SAP schools or schools with high Chinese standard. Many years ago, my son attended Berries World and Eduplus but their standard is not as difficult as the school tests.

Incidentally, Skylace gave a picture compo which is very similar to this year's PSLE Chinese picture compo (kids playing near drain) two weeks before the PSLE. My friend said its worth all her effort sending her child these few years!
