sakura_2009:
Does anyone know if the results of the final round of Mathlympics will be posted on the ACS(I) website? I understand there will be a award ceremony or something like that this Saturday (13 Oct) but I believed its only for the top scorers right?
Results will be posted on ACS website from 15Oct onwards after award ceremony on Sat 13Oct.
Not sure if all gold awards are going, but the top 15 scorers (overall top 3 + top 3 of each NSEW zones) will definitely be there. -

Actually all who took the 2nd round paper are invited to attend (whether gold, silver or bronze). All Gold medallists get to take group picture with guest of honor. Parents are not invited though. :scratchhead:sakura_2009:

Hmm depends on your son. Did he do Olympiad stuffs before? It will be super difficult to get a platinum. His foundation need to be very strong.
Did his school ask him to participate in the competition?
But if he is really keen in Maths or if he is chosen by school to participate, I don't really see any harm to sign him up.
Cheers :celebrate: -
Can a P5-6 child take the Math Olympiad tests if he or she is not selected to represent the school? Can he take the training and test outside school? Will the results still be counted for DSA?

For NMOS and SMOPS, based on last year, the participants must register through school. -
Thanks, dazzlego.
So, we have to wait for the school to choose the pupils to participate in the competitions?
Which competitions can we register on our own, without the school?
