      Which competitions can we register on our own, without the school?
      For competitions like SMOPS and NMOS, you must register through the school.

        You may want to try American Mathematical Competition (AMC). There are AMC 8 (for those Grade 8 & below), AMC 10 & AMC 12 for Grade 9 & above. You may register through school or on you own. My DS just participated AMC 8 yesterday which I had registered on my own. šŸ˜‰

                  The results will be out in Jan 2013, they will announce the results on their AMC website.

                    4 x (ab/2) = 2ab -> 1

                      Your ans is correct, too bad both my DS got it wrong. Q24 is it 4-pie/pie ? Can't recall Q19 & the rest šŸ˜‰ can you remember ? If I dun remember wrongly, have to score at least 21/25 to get honor distinction roll.
