      Essential:
The lowest score is 43. So is he or she consider \"it's the end\"!!!?

No, I think the child wasn't ready...maybe re-doing psle could be better. It's not the end. He/she needs more time. After seeing how hard our kids studied and some didn't get expected results, we have to understand kids.

        Snow Crystal:

One IP has affiliation - NYGH.
NYPS girls with 250 and above can enter its IP program via affiliation route.
Thus the S1 seats are always more limited.

Other IPs with affiliated pri school but no discount for affiliation into IP track include: ACSI, SJI, St Nics, SCGS, MGS, CHS etc.

        why NYGH special treatment ?
why NYPS girls given special privilege to enter IP track, minimal 250 ?

why MOE don't make NYPS girls follow rules and order -
ie. No discount for any affliation into IP track.
ie. make NYPS girls follow the same set of rules and regulation as
ACSI, SJI, St Nics, SCGS, MGS, CHS IP.

It doesn't make sense to make any exception to any school.
Once you make exception to One school, parents will come after and query - why not another school ?
if want to standardize, should standardize fair and square - across the board, for ALL schools.

        all IP requires min 250

        nothing special for NYGH/NYPS

250 is the minimum for IP

What about HCI? Do the boys from NYPS also have affiliation to enter at 250?

          No

            mummy so kiasu:

Is it true that 50% of NYPS kids are in the top 10% of the PSLE cohort? If it is true, then not all schools are equally good. Wonder how many % of them go to normal stream?
            is 47%, not 50%

            zero goes to normal stream

Including the foundation kids? Wow..No wonder HSK has difficulties convincing parents that \"All schools are good schools.\"

If I was he or she I would not think that it is the end as long as I have tried my best 😄 And if I heard that it was my friend I would give him or her a big :snuggles: and will not ask for confirmation of result as a form of respect :imanangel:

Do you mean zero for 2012? I think it's not likely to be zero all these years because there are foundation students (even if the number is low).
