ngbrdad:
This year NHPS did well in the PSLE.

Top student 276, among the top 17 in the country.
      Top 10 all above 270.
Almost 40% with 250 and above, very near NYPS on this.
Do you know how the performance on average between GEP, twining class Vs other best class?
That's right. Nan Hua reduced the twinning class to one from this year onwards, so there are only 25 places available. Previously, there are 2 twinning classes or 50 places and some students who did not pass the GEP first round were also offered the program based on their P3 overall result.

As Nanhua only has 5 students cleared the second run, there should be a lot of good students who nearly miss the GEP. It must be very difficult to get into the twinning class now.

Do u know how many cleared the first round? Last year, about 60 cleared first round and 10+ went into GEP. So minus about 25 to twinning class, about 20+ went to 4E or F..
Not sure exactly. One of the best class has 26 cleared first run. It should be similiar as last year.

Meanning if NanHua student who past the first GEP run can go to the twinning class?

No, not all of them get in to the twinning class. But most of them who took the second round got in.

Heard Nanhua has reduced the no of twinning class to 1, only limited students can go in now.

Thanks. DIN. Any idea how they select the students from other schools?

Not very sure. But I think very likely those who got into second round and did quite well but not good enough to go GEP. BTW, my nick is DJN, not DIN, thanks. šŸ˜„
Meanning if NanHua student who past the first GEP run can go to the twinning class?
