I am now 4 months pregnant, EDD in early Aug. Now we headache whether to let maid look after or put in Infant care around our area. But we are worry to let maid look after as there will not be anybody at home to supervise. I think infant care is a better choice then, right?
We went to see 2 Infant care, ZEE and Cherie Heart @ Mountbatten. We like the CH @ Mountbatten cos it is spacious and clean. I need to go back to work when infant turn 3 month old.
Anybody care to share any feedback / comments on CH @ Mountbatten? Appreciated

Hi jo.ong,Dear DYJH
SBA is a good choice if you could get a place for your gal. They organised stage performance and prepared kids for RAD exams.
my DD will not be 4 yrs old in April so SBA can't take in her.. SBA told me to call again when she turn 4yrs to see still have availabe seat but i think chances very slim. So I have put in her name on waitlist for the next in-take but still no guarantee.
Now NAFA offer a seat for my DD and also TSOD, so don't know which to take. what do you think? -
RE: All About Ballet
Hello experienced parents pls help.
My DD has started ballet from CC for about 6 months (she is now 3.3yrs), next year timing will change so crash with other classes. So i am thinking to change school.
From this forum found out that SBA, NAFA and TSOD (Macpherson) is good. I have called NAFA and TSOD to enquire and they can take in my DD. I have also waitlisted my DD at SBA (for next year since she will only turn 4yr in July).
Now I am hesitating which one to choose, NAFA or TSOD (Macpherson)? And if next year SBA available, should I change her to SBA?
Can any one help to give advice? -

RE: Ballet @ Crestar school of dance
Ribbon 4,
I am considering to change school for DD cos they change their timing from afternoon to morning which crash into my DD English class.
Do you mind sharing the name of the new school that you transferred? -
RE: What are the crafting activities you can do with your child?
I saw some kids at shopping centre doing some craft works but never know what is that cos never have time to check out. Recently, I went to Pa Sat Ma Lam and won 1pc of sand art craft, when home tried with my 3 yrs old gals and found it quite fun. But half way thru the craft, realised some colour sand not enough cos they only give very small pack of sand. e.g. like Hello kitty, the white colour need a lot then we never complete the craft.
I was looking to see where to sell it but seem can't find it anywhere. Not in stationery shop or in Popular, where they only sell in sets and only come with small packs of sand too. Then I search thru googles but can't seem to find anything and almost wanted to order from overseas. Finally, I found http://www.eplayeurs.com/, they sell quite a few of craft and also send lose sand, most importantly, they are very economic in price. The lady who I speak with also very helpful. -
RE: Comparing Pre-school English Reading and Phonics Enrichment
Dear Charmine_Chong, Thanks for sharing.
Dear iLoveChubby, Agreed that KSP forum is best cos i have a lot of information and ideas here. :lovesite: Oh yes, thanks for giving me the idea of going to library to borrow books and find out what is suitable and my DD liking before I buy... Never tots of it....
Dear Imami, I remember the last time I bring my DD to popular together with my friend's DD. The 2 gals are running around the book store. Sigh!!...
Maybe I should bring her alone, not with other kids so that she has no playmat and not run around....maybe she will then take books and read. -
RE: Comparing Pre-school English Reading and Phonics Enrichment
Hi Charmaine_Chong,
Thanks for sharing with me your experience and books... I will take note of the books and try on my DD. Actually, I don't know why type of books is suitable for which age, so I just go popular pre-school section anyhow buy, or just buy those books that I don't have. :nailbite: I think I am lousy mummy.
Prior to LCentral did you send your kids to any classes? e.g. Brain development? Or phonic kinda?
When you kids enter LCentral, which level are they? Foundation or launchPad?
After LCentral, how long soon your elder kid can start reading?
Sorry for asking so many questions cos I don't know whether when is the right time/age to send for enrichment. The old folks keep saying too young to go class. Sigh! -
RE: Comparing Pre-school English Reading and Phonics Enrichment
Hi Parents,
I am new to this forum and find this site very informative, really appreciate parents for sharing they experiences.
My DD just turn 3 yrs last month so bring her to LC for assess, they put her in foundation class. Then we went for trial, teacher told me they learn 2 letters "F" and "S" sound this week and do some art & craft + colouring and some games which all is fine to me and my DD enjoy it very much. I am thinking to sign her up, on the 2nd thoughts, she is in full day childcare. Aren’t they do the same things when she is there? Is it doubts?
Maybe I should send her to some other classes for brain development? e.g. shichida etc… I am just thinking maybe brain training for 1 yrs then send to LC when she is about 4+ yrs so she can adsorb better and fast. Will that works?
I need some advice, appreciate if anyone can share your thoughts. thanks
