    • RE: Pats schoolhouse or Brighton Montessori at grassroot is good

Some of the teachers at Brighton appear to be young and not being able to manage the children. I heard that both Brighton and Pats started taking in students this year at the same time but Pats seems to be getting more students.

Yes, that is true. But a packed school tells a lot about the quality of the teaching and care within in the same way the quality of the food and service can be deduced by the length of the queue outside a restaurant.

We love to spend time with our child and she is quite sticky to us too.

Take time out to talk...push a trolley together in the supermarket. Eat a bowl of dessert. The feeling is definitely different without the kids around.

    • RE: Potty training toddler

My girl started potty training when she is about 2.5 years old. There were some accidents but it is ok. Most kids should be fully comfortable with the toilet by 5 years old. The important thing is to continually encourage your child and not to scold her or show displeasure when accidents happen.

Your child at this age is gaining a lot of self-awareness and she will be very sensitive about such things.

Do your own research and you will be able to narrow down to a good school for your child. Value for money depends on what you as a parent value for your child. If budget is important, My First Skool is a school that you can consider but the quality will vary from school to school.
