sorry for late reply. yap my 2 kids both at this AMK centre. they are very happy and look forward to the lesson. one is in success 1 and 1 is in launchpad. i can PM u the details for referral if u want to enrol them.

I have withdrawn my kids from I Can Read this month and they will attend at LCentral Ang Mo Kio instead. My DD’s teacher at ICR is a local chinese lady and i thought all teachers are native speakers when I first signed up for my son who has attended ICR for 2 years. No communication to parents from ICR. When my son completed the I Can Read syllabus, there was no review by the teacher meeting the parents and just prmoted them to the next level on comprehension skills i think. My son is in K2 this year.


At least at Lcentral, they have dedicated meet the parents session in the calendar.

The teacher is not bad. I asked my daughter and she says she likes her. My daughter is K1 next year and she's attending the LaunchPad class on Friday. But i am looking for another day as Friday don't work for me. My son is in P1 next year and waiting for S1 class to start in Jan.

my girl is enrolled at AMK branch foundation class. My son will start probably soon for the liftoff programme. My girl is very happy and comfortable with the teacher. Came back after class and wanted to finish her colouring.

Hi Twinklesss, my daughter just started her foundation class @ Lcentral AMK and she is so happy. Came home and wanted to colour the worksheets. She is also happy with the teacher. I am quite impressed. and also good now cos its new and only 3 kids in the class. So teacher has more time for them.

My nephew is going P5 next year. Since P1, his English result has been poor, either fail or just pass. I realised that due to his poor command in English, his Maths and Science results are also affected. Thus, I am looking for a tution centre (in the EAST, preferably Bedok, Tampines or Simei) which can help students to build a good foundation in English. I hope that he can get the foundation right before moving him to more demanding English classes.

What type of tuition? any specific subject? i know LCentral is opening in AMK soon. Waiting for it to open and enrol my kids. Its for their English language - it caters to pre-school kids upto P6.

yes same course as other Lcentral centres. not sure about the discounts if sign up on opening day though.
