    • RE: All About Preparing For Primary One

      Hi,

My DS is going to P1 next year, I would like to ask if most pri school now use model way to solve maths problems in P1. I remembered during my older kid time, 4 years ago she was taught only in P2 onwards.

      Hi,

    • RE: All About English Speech & Drama Enrichment

      Hi,

I realize that my K2 DS is shy to speak in front of his class, whenever they have show & tell. I’m thinking of enrolling him for S&D classes too. Any good reccomendations from parents who had or currently enrolled their children in the centres are appreciated. TIA!

Yes Parents, we have to motivate one another and uplift our moods to prepare along side with our kids. Since SA1 is round the corner and let's all unite, to keep fit and healthy, pray and support each other. Cheers 😄

    • RE: Are Cosmetics and toiletries from Japan safe to use?

      Hi,

thanks for all the valuable advices. No offence lah, I take it on a light note only. Seriously now, which Korean brands whitening pdt are good?. I’ve yet to try them. Anything closest to SKII miracle water?? I’ve been using this for many moons and love it, but now I have to give it up. Thought of storing more but very expensive. Looks like I’ve to forgo and try other pdts. Is Clinique good? From USA, suitable for Asian skin?

Pls don’t laugh at my posting mah! Currently I am in a dilemma as to which country pdt to switch to after using the Japanese ones for more than 20 years. Stocking up is not a long term solution soI guess I may just have to slowly introduce one pdt at a time as I have sensitive skin.

    • Are Cosmetics and toiletries from Japan safe to use?

      Hi to all!

Do you think that cosmetics and toiletries from Japan are safe to use after the 311? Since H2O are used widely in manufacturing the products and their water are contaminated, will you continue to use?

Thanks so much for all the tips given by parents. Yes, I agree with janet that Maths is the toughest among all. Can make careless mistakes easily if not careful enough.DD always have the tendancy to tranfer wrong figure from Qn and does her working even tho working is right. 白白 lose marks for that. This year, I didn’t buy alot of assessment books cos last year, I bought 3 books for each subj and many lare eft undone. this year I doubt I’ll buy more cos school’s homework are enough to ‘DROWN’ DD let alone asessment books. Recently, give Vitamin C to DD to boost her inmune system plus Scotts Emulsion Cod Liver Oil too. Hope she doen’t fall sick as CA is round the corner.

Good wishes to all parents preparing their kids for CA! Keep fit & stay healthy for our children 🙂

Really poor thing seeing my DD lacking sleep every day due to tons of H/W given by school. After CCA and supplementary classes, practically she comes home after 5pm or later, three to four times per week. Off to shower and dinner, follow by yet-to-complete H/W for tomorrow till late at night. I can see Totally a GREAT jump from P4 to P5 . Do most parents face the same stress like me and DD?? Immune system not getting any stronger already.
