      KingRascal,

With this kind of people around…rather come to KSP, read or spend time with family at home.
I rather shop alone, or kaikai with my old lady.

        sleepy:
I get frequent cold calls from banks offering me credit cards. Then they go blah blah blah explaining their card features. I must quickly intercept and inform them cheerfully of my unemployed status. 10 of 10 times, they hang up the phone faster than I do :rotflmao:

        me too!

2 nights ago, i was complaining about being a washerwoman the whole day due to consecutive \"accidents\". sashimi said tt i cld always go back to work (which i think he said half in jest) and i immediately replied tt i'd rather wash poo off clothes than deal with my former customers and suppliers. 😛

i chose to be sahm as sashimi and i are not willing to have our dd2 looked after by others, even our parents. (actually, we have more hands-on exp in childcare than all 4 of them added up.) since i was a sahm before for about 5 years, returning to \"sahm-hood\" is easier this time.

maybe when dd2 is a bit older, buds and jedamum can meet up with me sometime? esp since dd1 will have late days on mondays and fridays now.

Yesterday, my P1 boy told me that he has a classmate whose maid is very bad because she refuses to sign her Spelling Test. So I asked her why didn’t she ask her parents to sign it? Is it because they are overseas? He said no but her parents always work till very late and she is asleep before they come home. Poor thing!

However lately I find another category more 'scary' - those who say they don't know how to coach their children and thus do not give them any extra classes or work...but actually they are

doing it secretly, and their withhold information from you on what they know of good programme.

Lately I noted of someone like that around me and it sadden me.
This reminds me of one of my classmates when I was in school. She'd pretend she's clueless of what's being taught and appeared to be unprepared for the exams but in fact she was studying harder than anyone else and always came out no. 1 in the class. I really dispise people like that. I guess those selfish/insecure parents were once such kind of students before.

                        Hi Sunflower,

which part of sK are you staying at ?

I have tried to go back to workforce for a month but resigned after a month to withdraw my boy from childcare as his frequency of being sick is really bad.

Anyway, during the one month of work been mentally stress on myself heee… cos I only managed to see my boy sometimes less than 1 hour a day.
