Thanks for this updated info mummy2008. When my DD started p1, parents were not allowed to go through the gates at all. It's good the school has bent its rules slightly to allow this now. First-time p1 parents will feel more at ease.Parents are allowed to be in the school for first three days, but they can stay till pupils go back to the class.

Hi bbhippo,
Happy New Year.
SMPS doesn't allow parents in the school. Don't worry. Your DD will be in good hands.
bbhippo, sorry for giving you outdated info. -
Any mummies or daddies can advice,
For Chinese class, the p2 are being split up.

Dear Punggol,
Just saw your post...hope everything is fine in your side. I think form teacher will remind our child to bring those books left behind in her handbook. We follow the 1st three days schedule...and yes, it's very heave bag, my heart aches too
... but my worry has eased by her..she said,\"dont worry mummy...i can carry it!\"
Btw, do you stay in punggol? how does your dd go to school?Punggol:
Dear mummies,
My daughter is also in P1 Patience and I have lost the Orientation Pack when I moved. Can anyone advise what I should pack for my daughter's 2nd day of sch on Monday? My heart aches when I see her having to carry a lot of things to sch since Day 1.. :scared: Can any kind mummies help?
I am new here and interested to be part of the whatsapp Parents gp for P1 Patience if there is one! -
We accompanied her on first day only, the rest she goes by herself.

Hi dear parents of St Margaret’s primary! I’m interested in this school after reading many good reviews about it being holistic and great in character building. However my niece who used to study there told me that current principal is more focused on academics and not character building. Another friend told me teacher turnover pretty high and doesn’t carry through school’s intended Christian values. Any comments on this? Thanks so much!
