Hi…Fairy, RGS has 5 GEP classes for Secondary 1 and 2, usually from 109 until 113…as I know 113 is the TOP class…maybe top academic, maybe top sport, maybe top music.

Actually i would be more interested to see their A level results. But i don’t think this was ever available.

Like someone mentioned, most GEPpers already DSAed to top Sec Schs even before PSLE.

For the current yr 1 batch at RGS, the geppers are allocated into 6 classes 108 to 113. I don’t think 113 is the top academic class and if I am not wrong, girls taking MEP are all in 113.

Being in Gep does not guarantee a confirmed offer for dsa. I knew of a few rejects.
Most of the geppers in my dd’s primary sch got above 260 for psle.

How many gep students score between 240 to 250 last year?

Sorry, I am not here to reply, because, I do not know the answer. I just have one question, my understanding is that geppers still have to be TOP ? % for their PSLE in order to get scholarship even though they may get DSA into RI or HCI right? In other words, if they got DSAed but scored poorly for their PSLE, for eg, only managed a 230, they will not get any scholarship… Hope to get some reply from any kind mama…

It dep on the GE cohort in the school. It varies from year to year. I think it is very very rare that a Gepper got 23x for psle. I would say that most will get 250 and above. At least this is what I observed last year.

Hi - I believe GEP students who are accepted into Independent schools (IS) and taking Integrated Programme will automatically qualify for the EESIS which pays part of the school fees ($2,400 pa) at the IS. Automatically means it is not subject to their T-scores. This applies to GEP students who are accepted via DSA as well as Sec1 school posting.
