All About A Levels

Augmum:
Yes. Seeing her cope with just 2 things this time, I wonder how she's going to manage 4 next year?
Didnt know that MI spilt the A level exams into 2 yrs...good for these pupils...slmkhoo:
Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I have 2 girls, one doing part of her A levels this year and the rest next year. The 2nd one will be in Yr5 next year. So I have 2 more years of A levels to \"look forward\" to!
Indeed very \"Siong\" to hv all the A level subjs ( except PW n MT) examined in 1 go....
So will they be given 2 separate A level certificates ? -
slmkhoo:
Oic. In my daughter's time, the online submission was done some time before matriculation. Once in term 3 and another in term 4 to confirm choices.jtoh:
The girls go over to RI for matriculation at the end of Year 4. Can't recall what happens there.
It seems that they were told that this year it's only online (ie. just submitting choice of subjects, no ceremony or event). She has to go to RI on Tues and Wed for the RA tests though. -

My older daughter is in MI, and they do MT, PW and the H1 content subject in Yr 2. My daughter is exempted from MT, so she only does PW and H1 Maths this year, both next week. She doesn't cope well with group work, and the constant meetings, changes, practices etc have been quite stressful for her, I think. And the haze hasn't helped - she was somewhat affected over the past weeks, came down with the flu last week, and is still not completely recovered.
She takes her 3 H2 subjects and GP next year. -

By the way, I put up a question about RI uniforms for girls on the RI thread. Could you look at it and respond there? Not so appropriate to talk about uniforms here, I think. Thanks! -
