Hi,

Is there any website showing all JCs A level results and it's nos of passes, statistics ?

Hi Isetan, there doesnt seem to be such a website...seems like the JCs usually keep the statistics secret...

      Ok thanks for the reply.

To the J2s who have just finished their As - have you started about thinking what you want to pursue for your university education? Also, the next 6 - 7 months or so might be a good time for you to burnish the CCA part of your CV, especially if you are considering competitive courses like medicine, law, dentistry etc. University admissions officers would want to see what else you offer other than straight As in your transcripts.

I have done some research on JC H2 Math Distinction Rate:
AJC’s H2 Maths Distinction Rate is 62.7%, which is very much higher than the 50% average National Distinction Rate.

Raffles Institution (RI/RJC) Distinction Rate hovers around 70% to 80%!

Victoria JC (VJC)’s H2 Maths Distinction Rate is around 66.6%.

Hwa Chong (HCI) H2 Maths Distinction Rate is around 80% (8 out of 10 students scored an A for H2 Maths in HCI for three consecutive years).
Overall National Distinction Rate is usually around 50%. So by logic and common sense, majority of the other JC's Distinction Rate is below 50%, so as to compensate for the high distinction rate of the above JCs.

Definitely, there is some variation from year to year, but not much in terms of percentage.

Google: \"jc math distinction rate\" for a more detailed analysis. My site (mathtuition88) is the 1st search result.

24 Feb? Seems much earlier than the usual release?

What about PW? I am kancheong over this one.
